“PUNK: CHAOS TO COUTURE” COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA – RITA ORA

Modern elegance with a punch of attitude. That is how we would describe Rita Ora’s look at last night’s MET Gala. Clutching our ADRIANNE DEUX, a new style for the Spring 2013 season, and wearing a gorgeous white gown by famed designer Thakoon, the British songstress rubbed shoulders with the fashion elite at one of the biggest fashion events of the year.

The theme of this year’s exhibition, and accompanying gala, was Punk. And Rita showed just the right amount attitude with her Jason Rembert-styled look, a perfect fit for her sparkplug personality. While many of you may have thought the ADRIANNE DEUX clutch was just pure glamour, Rita shows how easily it can translate to a look too cool for words.

The THALÉ BLANC ADRIANNE DEUX clutch, of which the golden interpretation is above, was beautifully designed by Deborah Sawaf and handcrafted with the finest of materials. Using her meticulous eye for haute couture detailing, the piece is made of luxe sheep leather with a subtle cheetah underlay and an overlay of shining Swarovski crystals.

It is also available in silver, blue, and clay orange, all of which would have been perfection with Rita’s MET Gala look. Learn more about ADRIANNE DEUX by visiting our online store or by contacting us at info@thaleblanc.com.
