Nestled above the skyline of New York City, Thalé Blanc showcased its Spring/Summer 2014 collection on Tuesday at The London NYC. We were elated to see some of our favorite editors which happily embraced the collection and the inspiration behind it.
Designer Deborah Sawaf was inspired by the old glamour and joy of New York’s 70s scene. Notably, Studio 54 was known for its fun visual extravaganza during this time. So it was quite apropos that New York City played host to this presentation. This collection was sprinkled with memories of sophistication and exuberance from the personalities of Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall, Ron Galella and Grace Jones amongst others.
Our friends in attendance, such as Martha Stewart Weddings and Fashion Q+A UK raved about the collection. CIARA in a rainbow of colors made everyone come alive, while the Zodiac collection gave way to a playful night around town.
Overall, Spring/Summer 14 was filled with the joy evoking the feeling of wanting to dance the night away in true New York fashion!
